NZICC tea sets

Opening in 2019, the New Zealand International Convention Centre is currently both a brand and a building under construction.  The marketing and sales team were looking for a unique way to engage key partners and thank early clients (event bookings are already been taken), for their support. The brief challenged us to demonstrate two key cultural values:  immersive and of New Zealand. We collaborated with local ceramicist Gidon Bing to create a limited edition tea set using the very ground the NZICC is being built on. Delivered with NZ tea leaves, for the perfect Kiwi cuppa. The accompanying gift card features a macro shot of the raw clay, simply contrasted with a matte foil, and tells the ‘making of’ story, taking clients on the journey with the NZICC from day one.

Best Awards 2016: Finalist: Design Communication, Business Communication.
