Sachie’s Kitchen

Sachie Nomura is the owner behind Sachie’s Kitchen, whose dream is to take authentic Japanese & Asian cuisine to every home in New Zealand. We created our own ‘recipe’ to assemble a brand that is fresh, fun, proudly Asian and undeniably unexpected: We commissioned Georgia Perry, who created papercut illustrations inspired by Japanese artistry traditions; we commissioned traditional sign writer Ben Maitland to hand brush the Sachie’s Kitchen ‘signature’ word mark; Sachie herself created the stamp of ‘approval’ in the custom of her family. Using these base ingredients we mixed up our ‘dishes’ — each one unique but distinctively ‘Sachie’s Kitchen’ in flavour.
