Marcs x NYC

For the MARCS Spring/Summer 2014 collection we were briefed to return to the enduring design philosophy of this iconic fashion brand. To us, that meant celebrating the colour, energy and creativity of Australia and Australians. We found four interesting Aussies living life ‘three shades brighter’ — the spirit of Marcs — in one of the most colourful cities in the world, New York City. We spent a day with each of them — documenting their favourite people, places and things around their neighbourhoods — and shared their inspired and inspiring stories with Aussies back home. The season’s materials took on a marked editorial flavour, making their way into 128 retail locations in Australia and New Zealand—from windows to point of sale, eDM, digital comms and look books.
